This year, 2020, given the COVID-19 pandemic, the third AIFC Court and IAC Moot competition was held ONLINE using the same video technology that is used for real AIFC Court and IAC case hearings. Six student teams participated in the 2020 competition, including from Kazakhstan, Russia, and Azerbaijan. The competition was expanded this year to include teams from outside Kazakhstan from the wider CIS region. The judges in the 2020 Final were Justice Sir Robin Jacob, Justice Sir Stephen Richards, and Justice Sir Jack Beatson, from the AIFC Court. The Final 2020 Opening Address was given by The Rt.
